<p>A website named <html><a href="https://www.douglasdc3.com" target="_blank"><b>The DC-3 Hangar</b></a></html> (<html><a href="https://www.douglasdc3.com" target="_blank">https://www.douglasdc3.com</a></html>) has an amazing collection of images, stories and profiles of the Douglas DC-3.</p>

<h3>Captain Zaharie Shah's Flight Simulator and a DC-3</h3>
<p>Evidence recovered from Captain Shah's personal flight simulator showed that he had 'flown' a simulated DC-3 at Yellowknife in Canada indicating his personal interest in the DC-3 and an incident involving a Buffalo Airways DC-3C registered C-GWIR which crashed on 19 August 2013, with no casualties. <p>A snapshot of the enthusiast's website <b>The DC-3 Hangar</b> captured on <html><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20140102122607/http://douglasdc3.com/" target="_blank">2 January 2014</a></html> shows what the site would have looked like if viewed by Captain Shah before flight MH370. In this snapshot is an article <html><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20131231091745/http://www.douglasdc3.com/buff/buffalo.htm" target="_blank"><i>Buffalo Airways and the DC-3</i></a></html>, which seems similar to a current (2025) version <html><a href="https://www.douglasdc3.com/buff/buffalo.htm" target="_blank">https://www.douglasdc3.com/buff/buffalo.htm</a></html>. Neither version describes the 2013 incident.</p>

<p>Enthusiasts have uploaded to the <html><a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/" target="_blank">Wikimedia Commons</a></html> website many images of, and related to, DC-3 aircraft. Four have been selected (below).</p>
