The first official Passenger Manifest for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 was released by Malaysia Airlines at 7:20 pm Saturday, 8 March 2014 with their 5th Media Statement.

In this version passenger names are listed on lines numbered from 1 to 227. Most names are in the format LAST_NAME/FIRST_NAMES plus TITLE, if known.

An updated version of this Manifest dated 10 April 2014has minor differences, including the removal of Titles.

Crew members are listed on the last page. The term Tech Crew means the Flight Crew (Captain and First Officer); other crew members are the Cabin Crew.

Passenger Manifests for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 were released by Malaysia Airlines, and the Department of Civil Aviation (Malaysia) or the Ministry of Transport (Malaysia), and at the Beijing Capital International Airport. The information contained within these documents was provided by Malaysia Airlines collected through the airline booking system and collated within the Advance Passenger Information System.

Although it is now known that some of that data was incorrect, for example at least two passengers were travelling on stolen passports, the Passenger Manifests have been included in this website unchanged, with sources acknowledged.
