In 2014, when MH370 went missing, the Department of Civil Aviation (Malaysia) was an an agency under the Ministry of Transport (Malaysia). The DCA has since been replaced by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM).
The Air Accident Investigation Bureau (Malaysia) was part of the DCA and was therefore involved in the investigation into the loss of MH370.
The original DCA website at www.dca.gov.my is available only on the Internet Archive.
A section of the DCA website, the DCA Official Newsroom webpages contained the full text of media statements from several sources including the DCA, the Ministry of Transport, the Prime Minister's Office and Malaysia Airlines. The content of the original Newsroom is listed on this sub-page References/Department of Civil Aviation (Malaysia)/Newsroom.
However, only the documents attributed to the DCA are listed below as References.
